Hi Everyone,

Great to be here and part of the forum.
Can someone help me or point me in the right direction please.

I have a RAR file that has a password on it.I need to remove the password.I have tried the regular programs on the internet but no luck.

Maybe someone can tell me if there are sites "payed sites" that i can pay someone to remove the password for me...Or someone here can do it for a price.

Any help would be appreciated.

From what I know, brute forcing the password is your only option.

I would try searching for the files filename in google and see if the file is posted somewhere else where the password is posted along side it.

Indeed. I've never failed with that method, although sometimes it took a bit of time to find. Google's cache of lost pages has helped more than one, incidentally.

What's the story with programs claiming to crack rar pw's? Just a scam?

I suggest Google as well.
