So its a while away but I thought I'd put this out there. DEF CON 18 is on July 29th - August 1, 2010 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino, and I've already booked up my hotel and flights as the rates are good, so I'll be in Las Vegas from Tuesday 27 July and I'm leaving on the Monday 2 August and I was wondering if there was a BinRev meet up again this year and if so who is coming?

(edit for typo fix)

I'm gonna try my best to come. I've never been to defcon before and assuming I can get the cash together i'll be there.

I'll be there most likely from wednesday afternoon/night to monday morning. Feel free to stop by the oCTF table and say hey, I'll be there pretty much the entire time while not partying.

I'm gonna try really hard to be there as well. It all depends on the finances, but I lived in Vegas for 5 years and somehow always managed to miss Defcon. If I have to sell a kidney it's not happening again!

I'll be there. I say we should meet up. This'll be my7 first Defcon, so I don't know how previous BinRev Defcon meet-ups work. Do we need to set a location and a day/time?

I'm going from July 29th to August 2nd. Have there been previous BinRev meet-ups? Does anyone have a map or such on the Riviera where we can designate a spot and time?

Well I remember seeing photo's from two or more of them. I'm not sure where they had it last year or the year before.

Pool area or chillout room is probably the best place to meetup. They are both easy to find central locations of the hotel/con area that should be easily to locate people.

Why didn't you post this in GH?

I'm not sure if I'll make it or not, but I'd like to go. There's a few talks I'd like to attend and I really want to see how SE-CTF plays out.

The fact that there's likely going to be less people there is also a bit enticing but $140 is a lot of money for me. And even though transportation wouldn't be an issue I have no idea where I'd stay.
