Would it be against the rules for me to post it on BinRev?
Attached is an example I made with good ol' Michael Jackson:

I based that off of my Driver's License, which I got renewed in 2009. That being said, my driver's license has one of those red bars on it, which is put on the driver's licenses of people who are under 21, so it might not have as stringent of security measures. That's the old style license, which I'm pretty sure is no longer in circulation.

However, if you were making a driver's license in order to get drinks when you're under 21, I believe this would be a better bet, because, really, who gets a fake ID with one of the red bars on it?

If you used your own license as a template, that would mean you are a California native, correct? It's never a good idea to use a fake license for a state in that state. That type of discussion is beyond the scope of this board, though. It should be common sense.
Apart from the concentric circle patterns, California ID's have a hologram, magnetic strip, and three different UV colors. If you are just doing this for fun, I applaud your hard work and conquering of challenges. You asked for suggestions, and my suggestion is to not do anything illegal with it. If you want to drink, have someone older buy you alcohol. If you're in it for the bars, you're not missing anything except for a thin wallet. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
