ooooo. Can't wait for the reviews. I don't have the money to be throwing around right now to order it, but if it's good I may have to pick up a copy.

I like trying mags too. Purchasing mags helps support the community even if they suck. Stuck with Blacklisted until they folded...they still owe me some issues (or money)!
I love the retro community...Atari 2600 retro guy myself...what I like so far about this mag is its presentation. As we all know the publishing industry is in systemic decline; everything is going online. Yet, for the retro scene having a mag, a tangible, physical object is very much inline with the whole going back in time before word was completely digitized thing.

I remember 300 baud connections to Compuserve. Most if us read faster than 300 baud!

True...I've got a 300 baud acoustically-coupled modem kicking around the workshop. It's tone generator module appears to be dead, unfortunately. Even 1200 baud is painfully slow, just for a remote terminal connection!I remember 300 baud connections to Compuserve. Most if us read faster than 300 baud!
I found out about "300 Baud" 'zine through the Vintage Computer Forums...a few people had already gotten their copies and said it was certainly worth $6. I'm looking forward to getting mine -- got an e-mail yesterday saying it should be shipped shortly!
