Your next task is to make a thread saying "does anyone know if this week's lottery numbers are X, Y and Z".

BackTrack 4 Final Released

Check out the new site-- everything will be migrating to the new domain:
http://www.backtrack...track4-release/

Including the new forums in a couple of weeks:

Well... BT4(F) is installed/up/running! And very nice I must say! ....I know things like kde4 would just slow it down but it makes even their new releases look old compared to everything else out there lol.... Oh well. I'm (barely) more about function then looks  But just as expected from the Bt Crew.... Another fine release!

If you're really interested in getting releases as soon as they are ready you should look into joining the informer. It's part of Johnny Long's Hacker's for Charity program where security researchers and developers provide release and beta releases early to the members of it. There is a small fee that you pay to be part of it which goes to help fund Johnny Long's work in Africa and provide for the people there.

I recently got into using SVN and think the whole concept of versions is great.

SourceForge for example has loads, it's an awesome site.

I put BT4 pre persistently on a USB drive and it was great fun. My netbooks inbuilt Atheros card worked by default. wintermute21 I owe you thanks.
