Here are some interesting numbers I've found while scanning this early morning.

1-800-683-6225 Dial 9, get a dial tone. Try sending other DTMFs

has anyone been able to dial out by pressing 9? i got a "I'm sorry, the number you have reached is not in service" recording, no matter what number that i dialed.

Sounds like it's a Meridian VMS. Seems like only local calls can be placed only within K.C. and the burbs of K.C.
View Post

now that i think about it, you're correct.
View Post

well, you can't dial local.

Well there's alway hope for internal calls. I didn't have a local number for me to test when i posted last.

ugh,. First of all he said no toll phree, and second of all get to know the difference between the two please. And in reply the only one I know of is the 770 AT&T one but you have to be on their platform to even get thru and that one reads back the "lead" number. I know ppl are going to be all getting confused about "lead" number don't worry about it its like the main charge number for hotels and such.

this reminds me of a time when i was a kid, and a abraham lincoln impersonator came to my elementry school. he handed us business cards with the white house phone number printed on the card. he told us that we would be put in jail by the secret service of we called the number. :P

Hello again guys and germs!

I have retunred from spending my summer in Hawaii with my granpappy and have some small, mostly worthless numbers to add. But its for the list nonetheless.

813-948-6372
McDonalds on US 41 and Crystal Grove road.

813-960-0458
SevenEleven on Erlich and Plantation road.

Payphones :) What would we do without them.

I'm unable to get the dialtone. Instead, it rings to an "All Circuits are Busy" recording.

Is the dialtone thing kinda like the old GTD5 Diverter bug back in the day?

GTD5 Diverter bug gave you another persons dail tone right?

i'm pretty sure this is my dail tone but the most i've done with it is call 1-800-444-4444
i'll go out tomorrow and try it around and see if it works any where else around me. my first thought was that this was like that old COCOT trick where you wait for a call to terminate and blow on the reciver untill you got a dail tone or something crazy like that

Well, its totally possible that it's just timing out and dropping you back to your own dialtone...I just get a fast busy.

Not to get off topic, but does anyone know what happend to 508-754-0284 (AKA: The Traffic Light)? I haven't called it in a while, but I gave it a call today, and now it just rings out. How long has it been since it answered with the "clicking/pumping" sound?
