no way, elevators except incoming calls? did you just pick up the phones and call an anac?

I just found them from scanning and whatnot. There are tons of elevators out there that accept incoming calls. You can tell it's an elevator by the dinging when the doors open and close, and you can hear the echoing of the elevator as it travels up and down the different floors. Some of them will identify their location with a recorded message.

Some of those NORVA Numbers still work (from Neuro's list), just to let you know, but instead of Bell, It's Verizon, if you couldn't guess

Sounds cool to me, but I don't think the other 703 numbers work...

i was telling decoder a few weeks ago that you can identify elevator phones this way. When you call one you will hear a short tone witch actully is dtmf whats the digits? 9-1-1...

Possibly. I know the main number 800-555-TELL has/had outdial, because they used to have a feature "Phonebooth" that allowed free 2 minute calls once a day.
If you have a website that logs, you can make the number use a WAV file from your site, and get the servers IP address. I tried scanning the machines IP before but it was firewalled like mad and wouldn't reply to anything.
