edit: wow somehow i got it to be a SASS unit but now all im getting is the datu functions again??! i bet this thing is setup to be able to access a bunch of different test units all from 1 number. its like dialing an extension.

The number listed here isn't a Datu, sounds more like an Extender!

dude. its a fucking SASS. i swear. i got in twice and it listed the exact options listed in the SASS manual. its really fucking weird and it seems hard to replicate the process of getting it to list the SASS options and not the DATU ones. this thing is fucking weird, thats all i know.

SASS's dont necessarily have to answer as an ANAC. if you check out the manual, it says you can set it to answer with almost any one of the functions it has, such as milliwatt, ringback or even a silent line. As far as this "dialtone" thing, the only thing I can say it that it must be some sort of "all-in-one" number that they setup for whatever reason that will drop you into different test units.

Any idea what this could be? (or could have been?)

And as for the 800-213-TEST (8378) number, the color changes every weekday. I still haven't figured out what the fuck its for, though.

I am guessing its for people on probation who are supposed to call it daily. If it says the color they are assigned they have to report to their PO for a UA. I have seen this before but never a tollfree #.

That would make sense as to why it only changes on weekdays, but on one occasion the color on a Friday and the following Monday was the same. That would be pretty fucked up to have to take the test so soon after, heh. Unless they just forgot to change it.

after entering 1111 it auto disconnects then after calling back I tried 1234 and after a sec I hear a loud tone come across the line.I have to run so I couldnt do anymore test at the moment.
