This is a TV audio feed for some station in Pennsylvania. It only seems to play audio during certain times of the day, though, such as during their newscasts. I think this may be used by them for reporters in the field to monitor audio for special broadcasts.

This is the weird one. I've had this number for a couple months and whenever I would call it played "Please hold while we complete your call", followed by a "your call cannot be completed as dialed" loop. It still answers that way, however, when I called twice tonight, I heard someone physically pick up on the line and hangup, disconnecting me! Anyone notice the weird clicking noises it makes? It sounds like it could be an old switch being used for private or business use as a PBX. Having someone hang up on me during an error message sure puzzled me tonight.

0320- sometimes this is clear as day but then sometimes its VERY static filled anyway its some sort of vmb and it says you can press 8 then 11 (not sure check it out it tells you) to call a concession stand..!??

You're right. I am 99% positive it is ringing through to Japan. PayphoneEd made a recording of a Japanese Telephone Ring and they sounded strangely similar.

813-948-0280 is definitely a fax machine. It answers after one ring and the strange ringing you here thereafter is just simulated by the fax machine.

I believe that 813-948-0050 is also a fax machine or some other type of carrier. Once again, this one plays a simulated ringing (after it pickups on the 4th ring), and is answered by a tone of some kind. I have heard TONS of these before but usually after playing the short tone burst they follow up with a fax or modem carrier. This one could be awaiting some kind of response first. It's not a milliwatt or test line, though, and this can be confirmed by calling it back right after you hang up. The line will be busy, meaning that this device (probably fax machine) is still awaiting a response and has not timed out and closed the line yet.

813-948-0320 is an interesting one. The humming noise sounds like a 60Hz bad ground...it sounds like two lines are physically connected to one terminating point. In other words, after you dial this number it is actually ringing two different lines at once. You can hear the VMB greeting playing while the hum comes and goes every few seconds... but always at constant intervals. I think the recurring on/off humming is the 2nd line still ringing!

neuro i bet you could call them and say your some clec and get some info out of em...like maybe a test line number directory!

greyarea: 9996 is a 102 test line (milliwatt), 9992 is another milliwatt tone i guess, but i forget the technical # they give that one. none of em are datus. datus arent all high pitched like those. for a datu sound call 802-244-9980. then youll know what to be listening for. but your in qwest territory and i dont think they use datu's, atleast not as commonly as verizon does. you should make a new thread and post your 602 scan tho.

speaking of datus, theres been stuff happening with the ones NJ, where i live. As we all know decoder did a project to write down and release a list NJ datus, sounded like a good idea, but instead we have lost all the datus in NJ (just try what was mine- (732)-477-9935), there did have their passnumbers changed at first, but now verizon has gone a step further and moved all of them to unknown numbers (which I don't know, hopefully not random). There might be a chance they are all on the same numbers (like they were all on 9935). This brings me to a point, I'm sure it didn't cross his mind (decoder, not yelling or complaining (much) here man, not blaiming you either, ok), but when anyplace (I.E. Verizon) has secret info given out, they try to make it secret again (as what was done). Plenty of people out there may have wanted to play with a datu, and you could always say "just use NJ," but not any more. The point I'm trying to make is that what we know, well certain things, that are not suppossed to be general knowledge. Some things we must be carefull with. It would had been better to had left it with "all nj datus are on 9935," a list wasn't needed. Now many datus have been hidden from us.

what I'm saying here is, think before you phreak/act, and just try not to keep this from happening again.

Call this one 602 277 9994 after pressing 1111# then # some more(heh) this robot guy comes on the line and tells me commands I can do.Pretty cool shit Im excited about it.

greyarea, fuck yeah. muthafuckin' datu on a qwest rboc 5e. i suggest everyone put that one in their pipe, and consider smoking it.

i wonder if 9994 is a common thing......
