That looks incredible for freeware. I don't have Windows though, someone should definitely check this out.

on the plus side Norton says it's clean.... although that still doesn't say much about the program (still have yet to test it out no network per say here)

Ok got it working, just ignored the errors it gave, seems to function ok, there are some nice tools in there, they are all pretty commonly used tools but its nice to have them all stored in one place. could be quite usefull for sysadmins all though i hope that script kiddies dont find it because it makes it far to easy to start DOS attacks via the menu.

cr8xor.

I've had this installed on Vista for a while actually, and had no problems with getting it working.
I really haven't used it too much, but most things that I have used work as expected. The one thing that didn't work was the mac address editor, it would throw a .NET error every time I tried it.

Pretty nice although it seems to be more about quantity than quality. Honestly, would anyone use Net Tools' "Network Protocol Analyzer" over Wireshark? Still, nice to have a jack-of-all-trades tool suite like this for doing some quick and simple admin work.

Wow. About time I see this tool appear. Nobody paid attention to when I said I used it. Lol. Saw this suite about a year ago.
So I think the script kiddies already found it...

Not too much out there is for windows, so it's nice to see SOMETHING

Because script kiddies do not use periods to end sentences. My grammar sucks, but at least I'm attempting to improve it.

Wouldn't a better way of looking at it be, "we stand on the shoulders of giants"? Moreover i believe a script kiddy is generally defined as someone who only wishes to use a pen-testing program because he think he can mess around with someone however i do believe that a script kiddy is not one to try to learn why the program works like it does, correct me if I'm wrong here but that's my view on it. On a side note not everyone might have great grammer however it does make one an ass to point out others faults.

Anyway, back on the topic of NetTools. I have used it before. It has a lot of useful apps. I found it a year or two ago. Although I didn't know until recently that is was freeware. But overall, it is pretty useful.

however i do believe that a script kiddy is not one to try to learn why the program works like it does

...and I completely agree.

How wouldn't you know it was freeware if you installed it?
