Hi, I just wanted to say a bit about a forum I frequently use, entitled Deadly-Hackers.org. DH is a very sociable, fun (yet serious), intelligent and most of all interesting hacking forum. DH is run by the semi-famous hacker "Evilthoutz", and has the best set of mods ive ever seen there. All of the members are commited to make your time there more pleasant/enjoyable.

Check it out, you can learn, socialise (using their great IRC and teamspeak), and have fun! If your interested in seeing the variety of different forums, be sure to check them all out!

Check out Deadly-Hackers.org.

Thank you, Poetic-Justice

Warez? Hall of Owned? Visual Basics? Buying your way into part of the forums? My immediate impression is that this website is run by script kiddies. Certainly I don't mean to implicate all of its members.

I can't really say much to you, as im on my final warning. However, by saying it's run by script kiddies, your not implicating "all" of its members as you say. You are implicating only the people who run it. First off, how can you comment when you have looked at it for 5 minutes? Not very well can you? And so what about visual basics. In england for ICT gcse's you use VB as the main language, instead of say C. Ergo, it makes sense on a forum for younger people, to have someting on that. I find this post very rude, please don't try and flame me. Certainly, I wouldn't agree with a lot of the "hall of owned" stuff, but it is actually a very good site.

Well, in my opinion thats very clever/sensible.

If your using US, you can trust Firmware and d4de. Do not trust gnome nor blackjackhkr, both of whom are "silly" to be polite. What about hackervoice.co.uk. Thats pretty big too if your english.

Mainly I was referring to the part where they misspelled Visual Basic. I'm sorry that you find my post rude, but I was under the impression that the purpose of this section of the forums was to get people's opinions on websites, not just to advertise them. The few members I've had contact with on IRC from that website seem to be of the same mold.

my 2 cents..

Saw this as Poetic-Justice posted it over at our forums, he got roughly the same response over from the UK people.

If you want feedback;

generally unimpressed with the forums. I think the main site looks tragic, it needs some one to edit that CSS file quickly. the main site impacted on my impression from the offset. like some one mentioned i thought "skript kiddies" thats not a good impression to have from the start.

The forums / site dont stand out from the countless other hacker forums. They showed me nothing of what was advertised in Poetic-Justice's inital intro posts so i was extremely disappointedly.

Points on improval of site:

Remove the annoying shout box from the forums.
if you have a forum, why bother with a shoutbox? its just detracting.
implement some sort of user registration validation.
I didn't even get an email saying please click here to validate yourself so you can post. The admins may regret this heavily once spambots get a hold.
VIP? wtf? lol... i always fall on the floor in fits of laughter when forums such as these have V.I.P sections. I aint paying for the promise of a prevalige of being part of the V.I.P group for a meaningless paypal transaction. My comment: get rid of that stupid sh*t or justify it to the sky for asking money from users.
If there is a good reason for it then sure, if its just another damn section on the forums thats identical or even more lame then the rest then goodbye.
The theme is Ok, but the favi icon dont make any sence.. looks like its on default.
Oh and finally. Why do people insist on blocking off forum content to guests ? is it just so you can boost forum member numbers? seems a bit silly. I don't see why the content of the forums should be locked away, there really isn't anything fantastically special in there

wow! Thanks for the tips, ill be sure to let the admins know where to look. Your probrably right about a lot of the stuff there (im not going to try and argue), but the admins have been trying hard lately. In all fairness they really have been trying to boost their site, and whilst it doesnt compard to Binrev or HV, I think its trying its best to get better.

I agree that there is a lot of bad things there, and which could be improved, but they're trying, and thats whats important.

Thanks anyway for the feedback, and the tips.

I think that may be part of the problem they are trying too many things at once.

Dont spread yourself too thin would by my tip!

Work on 1 thing for lets say a week. then do another then another. not everything at the same time.

Maybe evil came here, read this thread, and realized how bad his website is.

He then realized how much work it really takes to make a really good site, then just took down his site.
