Need a good wireless router

Hi, i want to set up a wireless network at my house and would like tio know what is a good router. I was going for linksys but i heard they suck.

If you want the ability to try out 3rd party firmware (i.e. get more out of your router than the manufacturer intended), here's a decent list from which to choose:

I never heard of LinkSys "sucking"... they're one of the big names in the field. I guess it all depends on who says they suck, and what they're comparing it to.

I have a ZyXel wireless router at home... I don't use it as a router, I just have it set up as a wireless access point.

I'm running a Linksys wrt54g v.3 with DD-WRT 24 beta and am very happy with it. Not that I have a clue as to use it to its full potential, but I have not had any single problems other then me messing with stuff I don't understand...

If you choose to install the WRT54 software on the router, you have just taken a $40 router and turned it into a $300+ router by adding much more functionality then the standard Linksys rom will provide. I have three of them in my house. One as a gateway for LAN and the others as access points for wireless. Each router has the WRT54 software on it and I am quite pleased.
