i am using free web hosts and was thinking, would it be possible to write java script that would make the hosts banner not appear? i mean, if there was scripting in the page to make the banner invisible? this is probably just a retarded scheme. anyone ever seen anything like this?

No they are still free, you just have the option to pay for it so it doesnt 'expire' and crap
