Have you tried using a proxy instead?

Blocked this site? What does the netnanny do to detect this as a harmful site. Surely a admin wouldnt know this site. Think it may be a meta tag check?

I don't think I put any meta tags in any of the pages! they may simply pick up[ the keyword "hackers" on the front page and out of context, blindly block it. :(

I guess I should be honored to be blocked? *shrug* :ranaway:

I wonder if any software is blocking my site.

SurfControl web filtering software has a thing on their site where you can see if sites are blocked. http://mtas.surfcont...m/mtas/MTAS.asp
I checked my site, and stankdawg.com but it didn’t have them in its database - sort of disappointing ;) Am I not important enough for them

yeah, proxies are usually the best solution since they get through almost all blocking software.

Sometimes the better known proxy servers are even blocked. If that is the case, you case use translator pages such as http://babelfish.altavista.com/ which also acts as proxy servers as part of their design. Translate any laguage and it will pretty much spit it back at you in english even if it is in english already!

oh, and Nick... you knoe by checking our sites, you probably just added us to the next upgrade list of sites to block!?!?!

one good question i thought of is keyloggers. sometimes you don't have the filter but there is the keylogger in you box. do you think it would be wise to remove one from you box at work? i've tried but was blocked when installing the Anti-Keylogger on my box. i wasn't taken away or anything like that so i don't think that would have found out ( since i work in a corperate company there is like 5000 ppl that they have to keep servalance on)
