that program is a boatload of fun.
apt-get made easy work of installing it, and the -root option allows you to run it as your desktop background. i've just started mucking around with this, and apparently it allows movies as well, which should be quite amusing. now i just need to look into transparent console windows for the added effect.
not too bad i must say for something that runs on my P.o.S box.

yeah too bad the terminals transparency doesnt work when using it as a background

i know mac osx can put a screensaver or slideshow as a background.. prolly same principle, just not quite refined...

Doing the movies in xscreensaver will eat the hell out of your memory.
