trouble with the space bar i see... anyways, you can only connect through telnet if they have telnet enabled on their machine

it will default to port 23 whether you specify it or not. [pat] is right that they must have telnet services running to access it.

I laways used to Mud off Telnet, but then I read a cool text file on Telnet and IP written by some Ancient HaXor dude .. and I learned there are alot of really coolZor things out there .. I recently started looking into movies in Ascii!

lol I saw a funny ass daemon running on this guys linux box waaay back in the day... lol it was a swinging ascii penis.
