Actually, you can't. They're not AVI files, don't name them .avi. The fact that it opens the video in a video player that happens to play flv files on your machine is incidental. You'd be better off associating .flv files with a player that can play them.

oh well i assumed you could because i read somewhere else that some other youtube downloading app would allow me to save em as .avi files. i figured it was similar. oh well.

I'll start a thread about video conversion apps...

Well that's it. I've seen enough. My own brain's internal "Get A Life" alarm is blaring. I'm not using that site anymore. You never know what kind of shit you're going to see, or how old those girls are who are flashing the camera. Last thing I need is to get arrested for some lame bullshit I accidentally viewed on teh Internets.
