Hey all,
I will be purchasing a wireless nic in the not too distant future. I was wondering if I could get a good wireless nic from a retailer (like Fry's). It of course needs to be well supported in linux (orinoco chipset) and not be crippled (need to wardrive :)). I really don't want to use e-bay if I don't need to. Help me obi-won kenobi's you're my only hope.

Orinoco is the clear choice. Big retailers probably won't carry them. A mom-and-pop computer store would be gald to order one for you though.
