I recently added some themes to fluxbox on my computer. I put the themes in ~/.fluxbox/styles/ and put the backgrounds in ~/.fluxbox/styles/. I can use all of the themes, but none of them display a background image. Does anyone know how this might be fixed?
If you go into the configuaration menu in fluxbox (on right click), there should be a option similar to "Enable Background" , when this is chosen, it should fix the problem. Try it.

edit: I read up a bit and found out that I had to use fbsetbg -i, it is currently using Esetroot. I installed Feh on my box, but I don't know how to make it use Feh, anyone know how I would do this?

WPSETTERS=feh fbsetbg filename
I suppose you could put this in your ~/.bashrc instead:
export WPSETTERS=feh
EDIT: tpyo

Also, most theme artists have the path for the background as a full path not using the ~/ shortcut, inotherwords, find the fbsetbg line in the theme file and edit to point to the proper location.

i used eterm to avoid the problems, brings esetroot as a part of the eterm package ( apt-get install eterm )
eterm = not fully transparent unless you specify in theme
aterm = goes all sexy and cristaline.
using win2k and gettin this off the top of my head, someone correct it if i said something too stupid thati didnt get to try before writing down
