I've already been pondering new ideas for the next project. Anyone like to add a little feedback here? Here's some ideas of mine: I thought about sending out a sort of "box set" anthology compilation of every last text file I've witten so far. Does the idea sound good? Or, should I not bother to wate my time? Consider this, there are numerous places in cyberspce that don't have every last file I've written. (Usually because I forgot to send them out to those places, so my bad there). But, there is also of course the place that's been the main flagship for all my files right form the start. And, that's hackerhost.com/lph. Speaking of that, I've thought also about possibly moving our site to a better host with more storage capacity, and the ability to upload audio files like .wav and/or MP3. But, where would be a good new home if we ever moved it? And, should we consider a name change to something kewler than just simply phreaks and geeks? If so, what? And, what other additions would be particualrly kewl and helpful? Don't get me wrong here. This is all just stuff I'm considering, not necessarily going to act on. And, any changes (if any) would be gradual, and further down the road, not tomorrow or next week, or something. Other than the info content, let me know what you guys think of the Phreeks and Geek site. Either here, or via Email. Thanx, d00dZ!

I would have to say *no* to the name change. Phreaks and Geeks is fine by me.

As per the anthology, I dont see why not. Might as well get your texts passed around.

As for the box set, hell yeah, do it...just zip em all up and there you go. As for the Phreaks and Geeks name, Im from the school of thought that says 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', so there you go. And as for the hosting, I would do whatever it takes to keep the site ub3r '1337 and whatnot...

Kewlness. Thanx, my phe110w pHr33k4z0idZ! And, let me just say that what I mentioned about moving to a different host is my idea, not ic0n's. But, I'm not exactly unhappy with hackerhost as the P and G host, either. But, the way I see it, if there's a better place to be hosting the site, it may be worth looking into. As for the name change stuff, I guess that's true about if it Ain't broke, don't fix it. So, I wouldn't touch that. We've already changed names once from LPH as it is. And, as far as anything else goes, we'll deal with it down the road. I'm in no rush. All good things come in good time. And, yeah, I guess I'll do that anthology collection at some point then. One thing though, I can't do it as a zip file. Don't forget, I'm on public computers here. I'm not sure that there's even any downloading allowed here. Oh wells.

Well, everyone knows the Phreaks and Geeks site as hackerhost.com/lph, and it would be a hassle to distrubute the new links. Thats my school of thought.

name recognizition is a powerful thing, changing your name would be a bad thing.

HHC has hosted it for so long, its kinda expected that it would be there.. I offered ic0n hosting way back in the day out of friendship couse he needed a host badly.. since then its grown, and I for one would love for it to stay at HHC.

And as said above, your name is inherently linked to your hosting.. changing your name/image could do more bad then good.

Reply: Yep, as a matter a fact it is. Keen eye there, d00dz! Google image searches are kewl, aren't they? However, in this case, I didn't even need to search Google images, since It's on a site I'm familiar with. And, in case you've ever wondered, I keep changing my avatar for varity sake. I do the same thing from time to time with the name potrion of any Email address I use. I like to keep people interested and guessing a bit at times. Hurricane Ma Isabell was ringing last night. I barely slept due to all the wind whipping up. Glad my flimsy dump of a house is still standing. No damge to speak of for my place. Tree limbs, or ever entire small trees down on some streets. Forunately, we still have phone and electric service. Which is more than many can say at this point. People in 5 states were without power.

Oh, BTW. Yeah, I think good points were made here about keeping the P and G site were it is, under the name it is. However, I may talk with ic0n at some point about whether we should do a major overhaul to the look or interface, or something. Simply put, if there's a way to improve the P and G site, I want to do so. One thing I'd wanna keep the same is the little or no jpg use throughout the site to poromote faster load times. Besides, any g00d wittle h4x0r/ph33x0r knowz that It's all about da 4-1-1 anywayz. And, on a final note, if you go on the 918 conf under the "PLA" or "DDP" rooms, or the regular 435 conf at times, you may run into me out there. I've yet to go on SoCal, though. Peace out.
