I found BinRev by searching hacking related podcasts in iTunes. This search got me to Binary Revolution Radio, so I downloaded a couple of podcasts and liked them. I later googled for the mainpage and thought it was cool. But it took me time before I started going on the forums. Now I can't stop posting

pretty much exatly the same reason i was looking for hacking related podcasts but not in itunes i refuse to buy an ipod. i found binrev radio and was instantly hooked. but like Aghaster it took me a while to jump on the forums no im hooked on that.

Is that how terrorists hide their secret data in cookies? Then its simple.. set the cookie monster loose on them!

Was googling around from some stuff about Circuit City and their network and found a few threads about it here. I think I PMed stank about it way back when, either way I'm still gathering my data on that subject.

Then he mentioned binrev on a conf, I loaded up the google and found it.

I was looking at images on google. I searched for wtf and it gave me a pic of a girl saying she was going to stab ppls eyes out so they know how ugly she is... and it lead me to this site . Though I'm glad I found it cause I'm really into this stuff.

I dont remember how long I have been perusing various security related forums underground or not. Its been a few years now.

The first one I became pretty involved with was www.thenewbiesarea.com which was owned by a guy who called himself Saimo. There I eventually made it to moderator and even hosted a few wargames but alas, eventually the frenchman known as Saimo went missing in action and due to a lack of updatage our invisionboard was eventually owned and the group disbanded slowly. I dont remember when I first joined binrev but I have been posting on and off for a few years, reading the forums here and there but now am trying to start a new community at www.hackdmz.net

You know, I don't quite remember how I found it. I must have been searching Google for Phreaking related forums. However, I do remember that there were *very* few registered users at the time that I found it.
