I love how it opens up... a little scenario about hackers snatching your credit card number out of the air. Because, as you know, that's all hackers do.

From what I’ve seen / can see of TechTV on the whole they seem to be well informed. (ie choosing staff with a technical background and teaching them TV rather than the other way around.) I think I’ve also heard presenters openly discussing doing war driving themselves...
I saw an interview from a guy involved with the Honeynet project/author or Honeynet book, which was quite factual/entertaining and as has been posted, they have had Mitnick on as a guest numerous times. Overall I think they mainly have their facts straight etc.
… Just my 2C
(or 2P however you want to say it)

I wasn't intending to bash the show, I just saw the first five minutes and thought if anyone is sitting around with nothing to do that it might be interesting to watch.

well I have really stopped watching TechTV it has gotten worse, they now have Microsoft Insider Live! which just tells you that they are sell outs. Paul Allen cofounder of Microsoft Founded TechTV. With the screen savers, they focus too much on gaming and windows. A kid at school told me that the screen savers was anything but pro windows, because they bash on windows so much. "Practice what you preach". I really used to like the screen savers and tech TV just listen to the old RFA's
this is all my opinion.
this is all my opinion.

I’ve seen plenty of clips or them using some form of Linux, they also seem to regularly have this guy on from OSDN, who are the people behind sites such as slashdot, sourceforge, and freshmeat.

I haven't seen/heard about the microsoft insider thing, as their doesnt seem to be any mention of it on their website.
(Im not trying to defend them, just saying what ive seen
- which is probably a bit biased seeing as I only watch what they put up on the webcasts)
