Did this meeting ever get started? If so, is it still active? I'll be moving to Longview in the next couple of months and would be interested in attending.

There was a 2600 meeting at Backspace Cafe but, as far as I remember, no one ever shows up.

Great cafe though, good place to game :p

I'd be down for starting one up, as I'm in the 503 area.

There's always people at the Backspace 2600, but I think I miss all the exciting meetings because it's usually just a small group of guys using their laptops. Within an hour or two, live music starts playing which makes conversation impossible. Usually everyone leaves for Portland's hackerspace, which is a space smaller than Backspace, but with no heat or food or drinks or really anything else to do. (Not trying to knock their hackerspace, but I just don't see the reason for going there. I know it's new and they're just getting things started.)

If someone else starts up a BinRev meeting around Portland, I'd try to make it there when I could. Or we could show up at the 2600 meetings.

BinRev is hosted by the great people at Lunarpages!
