i hit up godaddy for a transfer of a business of mine, and also bought w1nt3rmut3.net. that should go live soon, and with free fowarding, (aka no banner ad like register.com) its gonna be all good. only qualm with godaddy is i dont have a login name, i have a number. strange. well, give the DNS a few days, and w1nt3rmut3.net will be up!!!

I liked godaddy. I also noticed a feature to protect your privacy. I don't know any of the details about it, but I imagine they simply do nto sedn full information to the global DNS.

The sad thing is that they charge you 20 bucks for this service. Personally, I don't bother hiding my personal information, but if someone did want to hide theirs, why couldn't they just LIE on the registration form for free instead of paying for it?
