A little about me, I spent most of my adolescence playing with modems and learning about phone phreaking. Grew up a bit more, went to the Toronto Canada 2600 meet ups in the 90's, travelled to Beyond Hope and met some of my heroes like Cap'n Crunch. Since then my skills have gotten rusty, looking to learn some new things and increase my "situational awareness".
Hoping to get involved here and not just lurk.

Im very noob, and am trying to absorb any and everything I can.
This should be a good way to sponge up some of the culture.

I'm r0xy
you might remember me from back in 2003-2005 when I called into the socal loop and/or the PLA bridge.
I'm not so noobish anymore and recently got back into learning about phreaking and much more recently into computer stuffs.
I went beige boxing a couple months ago for the first time! Up until then all my knowledge was from reading.
I missed you GUYS! I'm so glad to see the forums have grown. I can't wait to read up on all the info you guys have.
HAPPY PHREAKING,
r0xy

I stumbled upon the Binary Revolution while searching on Bing for a book about Cheesebox Callahan. I worked with this mans grandson and he's also a good friend. I really want to try to locate a copy of the book "Cheesebox Callahan: Life & Times of an Underworld Wireman" I did save the pdf newspaper articles I found here, thanks for that!
