How would one find out what actual, physical number an 800 number is bound to?

i rememeber having a ameritech number that told you who owned the line w/ tele number. this only tells you who owned the line but you can always SE them into giving you the number. other than that i'm not sure how you would go about finding out where a 800 number transfers you.

i'll find the notebook and drop you the number.

The Ameritech RespOrg number is 1800 337-4194. It simply tells you what phone company owns the actual line, though, not who happens to be using it.
