This is now the official BR617 exploratory thread. I think the Prudential Center foodcourt ( directions at http://www.boston260...g/meetings.html ) is as good a place as any.

You have to give it a fair shot. You did only post in this one forum the day befor ethe meeting. Post on the Boston 2600 site/mailing list aboutthe meeting. Post it to other boston area related sites. You have to put some effort into it to get people to come. Boston is a huge area with a huge potential population of hackers to choose from that can certainly hold a large meeting.

Give people a reason to come.

True, I didn't think of the idea until the last possible minute, because I thought there was already a meeting here in MA. I'll bring this up next week at 2600.

There is a combined 2600/binrev meeting in Boston on the first Friday of the month. We are not really tied to any particular hacking group. Last week there were six people at the meeting, but from what I've heard there should be a few more in July.
