I recently purchased a Nokia 5156 and now I have forgotten the security code for the device. I'm able to delete some phone book entries, but little of anything else. If someone could give me advice about how I would go about retreiving the cell phone security code, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Did you change the default (I'm assuming it was 12345) or did your provider lock the phone? If the latter, you can SE it from them.

aight, i actually know the answer. type in *3001#12345#. A menu should appear. go down until "Security" is highlited. press enter. The numbers should be your security code.
BTW, this only works with nokia cell phones, so your lucky...
This also can give you the ESN of that cell phone...
