Nortel Network BPS 2000 password reset?

I just bought this Nortel Network BPS 2000 switch and it asks for a username and password when ever i telnet,http of hyperterminal into it. It was boght secoundhand
so I dont know the password. Is there anyway to reset it to defaults? I looked for a phsyical reset switch on the back but i diden't find one.

check the user manuals for any password information.

or google it.

not sure about this product since it seems to be something nortel bought out from another company, but on some of their switches you have to return them to the manufacturer or some third-party company capable of doing recovery :/

read the docs and see what you can find

well, if its anythinig like my old BayNetworks (Nortel bought them out) Centillion router then you'll have some fun. I had to use the engineer prompt to dump the hex values and then convert them all. Took about 15-20 minutes total to do it.
