Well this is more for SARS central in the BNA north of the 49th parallel. Was hoping people can map out city by city hot spots for wifi surfing or open networks where you're allowed to surf. BTW I don't think we have MickyD wifi yet here.

i also live in Canada, but i dont know mutch about wirless. I am thinking of buying a wirless linksys router so i can play around with it if i get mine notebook for college (dont know if i need one yet)

Well I recall a friend showng me something on York University campus and thier wi-fi ranges on the map. I wonder if you can clonemac and hop on there.

See if the Sudent or Tech dept can give you a wireless range map of your college. Say you're getting a laptop with a built in wifi card and see if they'll give you some info and share it.
