People are always auctioning off lineman handsets on ebay. What I'm waiting for though is a handset that isn't rotary *drool.* It'll probably cost me but it'll be worth it.

My advice is not to bid to high on these handsets, trust me there will be others.

yeah but that makes him have to use the base of the phone. if he makes a beige box and makes the end of the modular jack skinner it shoud fit into the hand set
