Yep, MCI prepaid sucks huge floppy donkey dick. Some of the restrictions include not being able to place 7xx or 9xx calls, "certain toll free" calls, operator assisted or third party billed calls, and collect calls. Of course they don't tell you any of this and you automatically agree to these terms just by purchasing one of these piece of shit phonecards, despite the fact that you can't read these terms unless you buy the card.
What I learned was to never buy a phonecard you can't physically look at and touch before handing your money to the cashier.
Oh well...maybe next conf.

Just about any department store will carry some type of calling cards...I agree. MCI pre-paids are ripoffs.

Bellsouth and Qwest seem to be pretty good... altho i could'nt tell you about the prices since i never paid for any of them
