Any 1 know of some os finger printing progs for windows other than nmap, i can't seen to work it(get it too scan).

there is a footprinting article in Binary Revolution magazine issue #1 at http://www.binrev.com/ that lists severeal others.

fingerprinting in nmap should be....
nmap -sS <ip address> -O
the O does OS fingerprint. its the best out there, next to say retina, which is a vuln scanner for windows. to be an effective fingerprint, you need to have some ports responding, so if like only 2 ports are open, it can only estimate, or not give any response at all back to you. hope this helps.
