I use postfix-cyrus-openldap-spamassasin-amavisd with enabled SSL/TLS.
didn't want a default sendmail server running on my box never use it. My friend likes it quite
well. qmail, too many daemon tools to play with. Maybe try it later, postfix cause is secure and
easier to configure and lots of docmumentation to read. Now your turn ;)

Got one box on sendmail and another on postfix. Dont really mind either one, they both work.

MTA means message transfer agent (I think).
