I need help, i'm not much of a smart guy when it comes to this topic, been useing windows my whole life. want to get a free bsd going in my room. I'm not sure how to install it. help-

follow the above but don't install the cvsup package during the system install it expects input and sometimes hangs the install then you'll have to start over. Install it later. For a smooth install just install the Developer option without X and without Gui. Then you'll have the base system from there install whatever ports or packages. But read the handbook first Why step by step instructions. and follow the above advice
