this is cool. You can make even text barcodes and print em and it will say something on the cashier'screen (i guess...), a good idea for that special cashier who you wanted to take out for dinner....rofl

That's pretty cool.

I've got an old Mac app that I used to use at the record label I worked at to make the barcodes for the tray cards on CD's. Of course, it followed me home when I left and I still use it. Have all the barcode fonts too.

Now someone PLEASE find out which retail stores this works at because I'd like to know. I know Wallyworld has scan your own things which is both US/Canada but I might try at a larger Caandian Tire store and see if that works there. For those down South of the BNA go to http://www.canadiantire.ca and when asked for a postal code just type any letter to get past it. It's not jsut tires. Just giving the site so you know what the store is about. I can't really use a digicam in the store for the stock boys are always running around. Unless I'm like at a store 2 hours away I'm not risking at a local because I still wanna buy from the place.

I'm really itching tofind out if those work. I don't have a car that I can use often so I can't find out myself at Wally.
