Anyone in the Devon area interested in setting up a binrev meeting?
Heh... this is an old post! Since posting this I've moved to the other end of the country almost - the midlands.

Slightly old post and kinda relevant.

I know, for such a small island, were all pretty well spread out. Shame we don't have any conferences like in the US. I'm tempted to try go to this years HOPE, but the money it would cost is just too much. Looking at flight prices the other day, right now the cheapest is around £500. For that I could by a new PC or take some Certification exams.

There is nothing as big as the US cons but we do have BrumCon and dnscon (not sure what’s happening with that at the moment). I will admit they are no where nearly as organised as the US events and are little more than a reason to meet, drink and talk about tech but they are a laugh if you have the time.

Unfortunately the only cons we get here are about more roundabouts.
