First time I have ever posted here but I have listened to about 20 of the RFA episodes and I love it. Ok so a sugestion:

www.textfiles.com used to have this 1-800 # that you could call and say the name of the book that you wanted to hear then it would proceed to read it to you. I think it only had a book on red boxing if memory serves but still it was the idea that counts and the program. So I was wondering if you guys could do a review of some software like that. I was especially curious about.

1. Computer answering telephone call
2. Recording it
3. Recieving the tones and responding to it (can talk back with festival for linux so not worried so much that the program talks but just be able to convert the tones to 0,1,2,etc.)
4. Maybe voice recognition

Even if you guys don't end up putting something like this on your show maybe you can point me in the direction of some of these types of programs?

textfiles.com got an 800 number for some odd reason, so they put up textfiles, not books, on cool topics. they basically brought the textfiles to the audio world. i havent heard of anything like this since then, and i bet everything that was on there came from info on textfiles.com
