Installation Help for a n00b

I wanna have a system dual booting between win2k and mandrake. Im thinking about getting anoother Hard drive. Could I have one OS on the master HD and the Other on the slave? Or would I have to partition the Mater?I'm a real n00b with linux tho so.....

A few more questions:
1.When in Linux can I acess files on my Windows partition/HD?
2.Will the PC work on my Windows LAN win running under Linux?

you can dual boot or just use one hd

1. yes you can go to /mnt/nt
2. not sure but i think it will if you run samba

Never dual boot an OS but once and you can have upto four different OS
all on the same HD if partion properly

What? I don't under stand ...not the technical terms but I think you forgot a word or put in the wrong one?
Also......should I use NTFS or FAT32 or does it matter?
