When you call 732-920-9979, you get all these strange tones that sound like a modem. anyone care to identify???

well you could record the tones, and send them into your modem and see what your terminal does.

Try this go to HyperTerminal and type in the Telephone # if it doesn't come up with a password prompt or it says it is busy or not responding it is a fax line. Here's an example 574-266-7455. It is Walmart's
