Just to point you to another thread here, have you read the thread I started about other boxes? Hopefully I gave you some helpful 4-1-1 there, Young Brain. It's mainly the "tone generating" type boxes that have been going the way of dino. But, the way I understand it, reb and blue boxing (2 of the most useful/popular boxes) still work to some extent in some places/systems. With blue boxing, It's now an international thing, with blue box tones being sent through country direct oprators. Meanwhile, red boxes may still work in some areas (Non-COCOTS or COCOT-ized Western Electric phones only, of course) or, try routing the call through 10 10 ATT. I don't know of any other "dial around" CAC (Carrier Acces Codes) this might work through.
