A friend of a friend has built himself a beige box and was wondering how he could use it on the little green towers that seem to be in front of every house. He opened one up and found to his dismay an incredibly tangled mass or wires. He proceeded to dink around and got no tones or anything. How can one tell the wires apart. If anyone knows much about these particular terminals, please help. -Thanks

You can find charts that match up pairs, but I say find a can with a terminal strip.

well what i do when i can is... i invented this little light with 2 wires running off of it... when the wires meet a pair the light lights up (a little 3 to 12 volt light... its odd but works)

The giant silver ones on polls are filled with hundreds of phone lines. It needs 7/16 socket wrench to open ( if there aren't any other locks on them).
