i'm really not looking for a dial tone... i'm just looking to power a handset.
would it be possible to power one to use as a tone dialer? and if so how would i connect the power copling? green to poss or red to possitve or the oppisite?

red is ring, green is tip.
And remember, when that phone rings thats a 90volt spike on the line if I remember correctly.
