1900-2200... So what is that in human time?  Like 7-10? ;)

Okay, this is offtopic but it is military time, used extensively in Europe for schedules. It solves the problem of having the same time twice in one day. GIYF.

we are getting in about noon. and since rural mississippi lacks on the sushi, we are going to go eat with all of yall.

there will be 2 of us (me and the wife) and we wont have a car and need a ride. if it comes down to it, she can sit on my lap. (no jokes about how she can sit on YOUR lap)

I know I'll be able to attend as long as I can get a ride there and back. I hope someone has some room in their car. If I have to resort to a taxi I suppose I can do that too. As far as conversation, I am pretty much only interested in phreaking related topics. Maybe I should be at a table with mostly the phone phreaks. If anyone has a ride for me, let me know. Also, is there a dress code I should know about? I'll check this Forum Topic later tonight. Happy Trails!!!

There is no dress code for the restaurant that I'm aware of beyond being required to wear clothes. A t-shirt, shorts, and sandals are acceptable.

As far as transportation, I think that if we end up not having enough seats for all the asses we're taking, enough of us would be willing to chip in a few bucks for a taxi ride for the extra few...but it would be nice if we had enough cars (hint hint) :)

Speaking of not planning, people tell me everything in vegas can be gotten-to by the metro system so a taxi or necessarily even rides may not be necessary.

If we want to get together a massive amount of people, it helps to schedule something. Plus. If we are descending on a restaurant, it helps ot have reservations :D

Strom is a lived in LV, so I defer to his judgement. Plus, the monorail is damn-near impossible to walk to while the sun is out, as it is nowhere near the AP.

HA! Las Vegas' public transportation blows donkeys for quarters, and the monorail only takes you to half of the casinos. Where we're going is far from the casinos, although it is near a main road, so you could take the bus if you really wanted to. Be warned, however, that if you take the bus, it will take you approximately forever to get there.

If you guys wanted to pitch in for gas, I'd be willing to make 2 trips. It'll probably cheaper than a cab.

I'm taking a wild guess, but I'll bank on 9, plus 3 on laps, and 3 more strapped to the roof.

Alright, I've updated the list to reflect current plans. We're going to meet up in the ALexis Park entrance lobby at 7 PM on Friday, and we are leaving at EXACTLY 7:15 PM. This gives you enough time to get there and gives us enough time to account for everyone. I will give the drivers the location of the restaurant when we meet up, so if you're driving and you forget to show up, too bad.

The reason I'm doing it this way is so that we don't suddenly have fifty people show up when the reservation is only for a party of twenty-one. If you want to come, you have until 10:00 PM PDT on July 24th to post to this thread and get your name on the reservation list.

If you have any questions, post to this thread, PM me, or call me at the number in my sig file.
