Sign-up is now closed. If you need to inform me of changes to this list, please PM me directly.

The other list seems to be getting incredibly long, so let's narrow this down. Post here only if you are definitely going to attend the official forum get-together. Please note that you must post here if you want to come to dinner, since the restaurant is not humongous and I don't want to make reservations for 35 if only 15 are actually going to attend.

Please also post whether or not you will be able to drive in the caravan, and if so, how many passengers you will be able to carry including yourself (i.e. how many people your vehicle will seat safely). I would love to take everyone in my Civic, but since that only seats five people, it's a bit tough.

If you are planning on bringing one or more friends with you to dinner who are not able to speak for themselves on this forum, please note that as well.

DINNER PLANS
Dinner will be held at a really awesome Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in west Las Vegas. The exact location will not be announced beforehand; you will have to show up at the alexis park on-time and ride with us in the caravan. Directions will be provided to those driving in the caravan. (this is, again, to make sure that we book the right number of seats at the restaurant)

Please note that even though this place has an extensive sushi menu, there is a full menu of Japanese food which is not sushi, so if you're petrified of a few cubic inches of fresh tuna, you can still wimp out and order the teriyaki chicken.

SCHEDULE
FRIDAY, 29 July 2005
7:00 PM - Meet up at Alexis Park in the main lobby of the hotel; account for all attendees.
7:15 PM - Leave Alexis Park in a caravan
7:40 PM - Arrive at restaurant
9:00 PM - Leave restaurant
10:00 PM - Hacker Jeopardy! at Alexis Park

ATTENDEES (as of 7:02 PM PDT, 23 July 2005)

Is that "definitely two, possibly three" or is that "maybe none, maybe two, maybe three"?

i'll go to the dinner. i'm gonna be entirely reliant upon taxis and other people so if anyone wants to give me a ride that would be nice. also if anyone has a girlfriend who'd like to come but doesn't have a place to stay, i can keep 'em company for a night or three... however if you don't have a girlfriend and you're cool you can crash in my room at Caesar's Palace.

Okay, this is offtopic but it is military time, used extensively in Europe for schedules. It solves the problem of having the same time twice in one day. GIYF.
