heh i was in FIRST whilest my time in HS, do you go to the NE regional? When I'm working on a particular project, I put the files on the thumb drive so anywhere I go that I can find a computer to work on (almost), I can have my work with me.
For example, FIRST Robotics season has started. I have my code snippets on the jump drive, as well as game manuals and white papers on everything that I need to work with. I also have some design stuff on there for the robot and for the web page. Just an example.

This is the exact same way I use mine. I also keep an updated copy of my resume on it because you never know when you may need one.I have the 1gig lexar jump drive, has the fancy rubber thing around it. Use mine for work, has antivirus, spyware removal stuff, various apps and manuals. Really freakin handy.
