is there any linux command or program that can restore my box to an earlier configuration??? I was installing some nvidia drivers and I fukked up my X server, something bout GLX, well, thanks in advance

ok, just forget it, I need to do a clean install, but if anybody has any ideas for the future.....

There would be if you had a tape backup . Or you can cp /usr/X11 and then replace the fucked version with the copy.

fuck it, I just reinstalled slack 9, of course when I tried to install alsa (the same version) it didn't work.....MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!! man im pretty pissed, oh well, ill get it workin sooner or later
