Well it looks like Binary Revolution now has a blog system which means I could have yet another chance to post data to the internet. However instead of taking that mindset with this avenue I have decided to quit my other blogs that are spread all over and dedicate to this one. Keep watch to see what I will post next!

zapper...there is a lot of "trackback" action here and all of it looks like SPAM. I have not seen it on my blog yet, but I havent looked yet either. We need to figure out what this comes from and what we need to do to stop it.

EDIT: There is s setting that is a simple checkbox to only post trackbacks if you approve of them. you seem to have this turned on for comments on that poll that you posted, but not here. We need to figure out what kind of settings to use and try to make them the defaults for everyone.

Sure no problem. I am going to bed tonight but will look into it sometime tomorrow.

EDIT: I added the approval check for trackback entries, thus requiring approval before they are posted. The same feature is probably out there as a global option, but all I can tell is that it is a option locally for mine to require approval for trackbacks. I did enable comments by anyone (With the exception of guests as it is disabled globally) so that whomever wants to reply in the blog may do so. Hope this takes some heat off with the SPAM trackback.

We do have this setting applied globally for all blog:

Enable trackback spam prevention?
When this setting is enabled trackbacks from detected bots are blocked.

But it obviously didn't help much.

Yeah. However it appears that string of spam trackbacks were specifically during a range of time and it appears probably all from the same source.

Interesting enough all 3 are conforming to the width (no greater) of your image in your sig. Anything longer is lost. However it doesnt appear to follow the 'post' frame, it seems like it gets cut off by the field background.
