Adobe attacking Pirates?

General
Well for those of you who own Adobe may have noticed a interesting new process running on your system. This strange service is linked to the new authentication measure Adobe has put in place to ensure all of its products are properly activated and what seems to be their latest weapon on the piracy front. I have been following this new 'feature' to see its behaviors in forcing users to remain compliant with activation. It appears that its first powerful attack is on the Acrobat technology of PDF where anything that attempts to write PDF will first verify the product being used and of course, if its legit and activated.

I am hoping to evaluate this protective process a little more and drop some of its hidden secrets soon enough.
